So, I'm a troll entirely set up to see how many terrible comments I could wrangle out of you in exchange for toy donations from my friendslist in lieu of arguing with you monstrous people.

Arguing "on the internet" can only get you so far. And in a case like this, I shouldn't have to. When does making a simple life decision about whether or not have kids become some sort of excuse to be a horrible human being filled with hate and rage over the fact that there are children in existence? When does not wanting kids become a reason to scream at the top of your fatty e-lungs everytime you see a picture of a child on the internet? When does it become ok to become a nasty, bitter git because someone decides to feed her child the way human beings have been feeding children for thousands upon thousands of years? When does it ever become ok to make false police reports against people you happen to disagree with or publicly threaten children in front of them or spoil the magic of christmas for a little one or wish to end an effective system of finding lost children just because it interrupts your sitcoms?

The answer should be never, but alas it isn't. Although deep in my trolly little heart I would love to wave a magic internet wand and make everyone philanthropic instead of viciously misanthropic, I can't. But what I can do is turn this little festering pile of hate into something good for someone, at least.

Turning shit into gold is the whole foundation of "Philanthropy for Misanthropy", a little trolling movement I've started. Instead of arguing with people who will never change their vitriolic minds over the internet, you could take their terrible opinions and behavior and make something awesome out of it in the form of charitable donations.

This year, after getting a little sour in the stomach over some of the retarded things said here about doing terrible things to your fellow human beings, I decided to focus "Philanthropy for Misanthropy" around these parts. For every comment made in agreement with some abhorrent thing I said in this community, people could pledge a certain amount of toys. Coupled with comments made by cf_hardcore members while trolling my own personal journal, it totaled to about 105 comments.

And everyone who pledged toys on my friendslist donated, either through an Amazon Wishlist I set up or through their own means.

Donors who Purchased Toys from The Amazon Wish List. All Toys Purchased from the Wishlist were Donated to The Starlight Foundation through Starbucks.

Am I supposed to explode now, or something?
YOU never had to come here if you didn't like what we were talking about. This is a RANT community, made so we can talk about stuff that isn't appropiate in wider society, like our distaste for kids. Not everyone likes them *gasp* ...just like not everyone likes you. We all don't have to stand around a fire in a circle, holding hands and signing with a spliff. But those that do are free to join. Just - No kids allowed.
You didn't have to read my entry, either!

And perhaps physically threatening kids is in distate because maybe it is pretty wrong.

But that's just me!

Maybe you guys could decide to not have kids and not shove your beliefs down everyone's throat? Maybe you guys could decide not to have kids and not take it out on every kid you see? Just asking! Hugs and kisses!
I dunno, what do you want to do?
Yawn

Where's my cookie recipe again?
*growls and pads off*

*brb kicking sprogs*
I think I speak for everyone when I say:

Who cares?

Dude, get over it. This is a community for rants about children. Don't compalin when the only thing you see are, ohmylordz, rants about children.
Well, I didn't complain, I donated toys!

Hah!
Good for them, I suppose. Kids should have food and toys.

This has got to be the stupidest thing I've heard in a while.

"Grrr! Those people think differently! I'll show them! I'll...buy kids toys!"

*shakes head sadly*
So wait, wait, you're against the thought of me donating toys to kids because I didn't want to argue with you people?

Would you rather have had me Arguing with you?

I'm sorry for giving toys instead of typing in all caps rage, I will do better next time :D
Am I supposed to be upset about someone donating to charities? If that was your goal, you've failed quite miserably. Are we all supposed to be upset that food and toys have been donated to children? Are you really so stupid as to believe that?

If you were not so blinded by your false generalizations, perhaps you would see that not every single member in this community is as hateful and "viciously misanthropic" as you seem to think. I cannot speak for everyone in here, but even though I do not want kids of my very own, I do not go out of my way to bitch and moan and complain every chance that I get about parents or children that piss me off for behaving terribly, in fact it's ignored just like anything else that I may find annoying. I rarely post in here as it is, and when I do post, it's never anything hateful or angry.

Also believe it or not, I actually *gasp* like children and I've donated a few hundred dollars to charities this month alone, a few of which were *gasp* children related charities as well as various animal welfare charities, seniors with disabilities, and the like. In the past year, I've donated a total of 2,550.00, but I guess that makes me an awful awful person all because I'm child free, hmm? Nice logic. This inaccurate generalization of the entire child free group is getting highly boring at this point, and I'm really unsure as to why you're making such an attempt to create drama with this community where many of the members are in fact very kind and generous people.

Also, that's really great that so much was donated to children. I wish more people would donate to various charities. It would make the world a much better place to live in as many people who are less unfortunate are in need of help and very much deserve it. However if you are attempting to piss people off in here by doing something like uh, donating to charities? I highly doubt you're going to get the reaction you might be expecting to get. Nice try though.

Now please excuse me. I'm going to go back to hating babies and going out of my way to let people know how awful that I think all children are. Hell, maybe if I have some time I'll even kill a few kids before dinner.

*eye roll* Too Long, Didn't read *eye roll*
I totally think my face is stuck in "WTF?!" mode. Damn. Knew my mom said never to make faces like that... crap.
What an awesome idea!

Although I don't agree with trolling, KNOWING that people will respond badly to something and changing that into something benificial is a really neat idea. Plus, I can't help but feel like you targeted people I don't, and never, agree with, so personally I'm not offended or outraged; selfish as that is.

It's weird and a little ethically ambiguous, but fuck it, I'm impressed. :)
Um what? I don't get it - was that supposed to make us angry or something? My eyes kept glazing over, reading it. Damn short attention span.
Well, you are quite an interesting troll, I'll give you that. But I still don't see why you had to come here and shove in our face that you donated for needy children for the holidays. Fantastic, needy people in general shouldn't go without. The entire point of a charity is to give when you can, not harass people, which, as you said, is half of what you did.

And I find it terribly amusing how trolls come in here to tell us how terrible we are for supposedly 'shoving our opinions down other's throats', when you preach to us and expect us to change just becuase you said so. I suppose everyone's a hypocrite, though.

Painting us all with a broad brush shows how much of an idiot you, and other trolls, really are. Kthxbai.
Hah, it's like everyone is trying to be Penny Arcade now, though it's not a bad example to follow. I'm not sure if this is supposed to stop us from ranting in a ranting community though? I mean, it's our rants that made trolls buy toys and food for kids ;D

Just because we rant about bad parents and misbehaving children doesn't mean we don't give to charity, including those who benefit children. But I'm sure most people realize that, it's just the trolls who enjoy and desperately cling to their little stereotypes to make themselves feel better about themselves "I may be a troll with no life and armpit funk that could kill a herd of zebra, but at least I like babies lolololol."
Though the stereotype comes from somewhere, but that type of person is usually the loudest and gets the most attention, and for better rightious indignation the calmer more reasonable people are ignored.

But I digress.
MLP rocks and "where the wild things roam/are(?)" is a classic. If I give kids presents I always give them age-appropriate books.
You sure like arguing back and forth.

You could be doing good things for children but instead you are here being an attention whore.

It's pretty sad.
Just a quick question. Have you seen any of the entries in which a CF_hardcore member rants about abusive and/or inept parents? Or maybe on of the entries in which someone reports about doing something about the situation, too?

Please, don't poison the well. I have no way of knowing for sure, ofcourse, but contrary to what you may or may not like to believe: We don't hurt kids. We don't eat them, either.

Oh, by the way, have some cookies for donating to charities. That's just about the only positive thing to come out of this post of yours.

You have some really weird issues to work out.

Good luck with those.
Gawd, that (not sure what the hell it's gender is) troll is sure friggin ugly.

Also, very sad attention seeker post. Poor thing, almost feel sorry for it.
*sigh*
wow.. boring Troll.. ~yawns~.. next please?
oh great, it's that little "I'm a goth!" fuck.
actually I take that back.. I have seen the error of my ways and will now pop out 20 kids and suck on the tax payers money so they can pay for them instead.. wow.. you rule and have changed my life..
